Executive Team
Brian Simon, CEO
Mr. Simon serves as CEO of CapitalFront and has over 20 years of experience in lending, risk management, capital markets and strategic development. He has formerly held the positions of COO at New Penn Financial, CEO of Caliber Funding and COO of Freedom Mortgage. Throughout his career, Mr. Simon has been responsible for helping to build multiple organizations from regional players into national industry powerhouses. He has led several significant M&A transactions, including the 2006 acquisition of Irwin Mortgage by Freedom Mortgage and the 2012 acquisition of the MetLife mortgage business during his tenure at Caliber. Brian has also been responsible for whole loan trading, hedging and securitization, as well as a wide variety of structured financing activities including warehouse loan syndication, capital raising and MSR sales/acquisition.
Brian is a previous member of both the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac advisory boards, and has been named one of the 100 most influential mortgage banking executives in the United States. Mr. Simon holds a BS degree from Temple University, and has attended the executive MBA program at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business.
Joe Greco, Chairman
As an entrepreneur and businessman, Mr. Greco has been involved in a range of business enterprises. He started his career as a youth and is the founder and former CEO of PSC Info Group. PSC was a leading provider of information, data and document technology solutions, focused on revenue cycle management, consumer communications and payment acceleration. PSC was twice recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of America’s 500 fastest growing private companies. In 2012, PSC became the integral part of a merged group of companies that is now RevSpring, Inc. Mr. Greco serves as Chairman of the Board of RevSpring. RevSpring technology platforms facilitate over one billion consumer interactions annually in the financial services, healthcare and home services marketplace.
Mr. Greco is also founder and chairman of Thrivest Holdings, LLC. Thrivest is a leading provider of financial solutions in the legal and specialty funding sectors.
Mr. Greco is part of the ownership group that owns Major League Soccer’s (MLS), Philadelphia Union professional sports team. He also serves on the boards of various companies and organizations and supports a variety of charitable endeavors through his private foundation.
